Meet The Chef

Chef Stuart Groove was born and raised in the picturesque village of Waterford, Ireland. From a young age, he was captivated by the sights and smells of his grandmother’s kitchen, where traditional Irish recipes were lovingly prepared. This early exposure to the art of cooking ignited Stuart’s passion for culinary excellence.

Determined to hone his skills, Stuart enrolled in the prestigious Dublin Cookery School, where he completed the Culinary Arts Professional Chef Programme. Under the guidance of renowned chefs, he mastered the techniques and artistry required to create exceptional dishes. His dedication and talent earned him high praise, and he graduated with honors.

Armed with his culinary credentials, Stuart returned to Waterford with a dream of creating a unique dining experience that would reflect his love for traditional Irish cuisine while incorporating modern twists. He opened “Stuart’s Haven,” a cozy bar and restaurant that quickly became a beloved local gem.

At Stuart’s Haven, patrons were treated to a warm and inviting atmosphere, reminiscent of Stuart’s childhood kitchen. The menu showcased his innovative take on classic Irish dishes, featuring locally sourced ingredients and seasonal flavors. Stuart’s signature dish, a reimagined Irish stew with tender lamb and a medley of root vegetables, became a crowd favorite.
